Summary Filters

FogBugz has "Open Summary" filters, and so does CaseDetective for FogBugz.

CaseDetective has automatic open case summary filters for "My Cases", Projects, Areas, Customer Types (e.g. Client & Department) and Customers, Releases, Priorities, and Person Assigned.

Open Cases By Area

CaseDetective has a summary filter not present in FogBugz, Open Cases By Area. With this filter you can see all the cases currently open within the Area names you have (e.g. "Web Development" or "User Interface" Areas) across all your Projects.

For each Area name you can drill down further to see the open cases by Project specific Area.

If your business is segmented in FogBugz by Area, you'll find this particular feature very useful when reporting on just what your team has on it's plate.

And just like your global and personal filters, each filter can have a custom set of columns and sort order.
